JusticeWalking Workshops

We recommend that groups schedule an introductory workshop before offering the JusticeWalking program. The JusticeWalking workshop, “J-Walking the Gospel,” offers youth ministers, catechists and teachers an introduction into prophetic ministry with young people, and an immersion into the spirituality of Gospel-living.

Using stories, symbols, music, prayers, and process components, the workshop presenter outlines the background, components, and unique elements of this approach to prophetic ministry with older teenagers.

This four-hour presentation is offered in a prayerful “retreat” atmosphere that implements many of the components of JusticeWalking. This event can be scheduled for weekdays, weekday evenings and weekends.

There is no fee for the “J-Walking the Gospel” workshop; however, sponsors are expected to cover any travel and housing expenses. Parishes or dioceses often recoup these expenses by charging a modest registration fee. For more information about JusticeWalking workshops, contact justicewalking@justfaith.org.
