The JustMatters module, Sanctity of All Life, is based on the foundational Catholic Church teaching that, as a gift from God, every human life is sacred - from conception to natural death.
Participants in this module are asked to “move toward” and consider the worth of people who in our time are considered by many to be like the leper in Biblical times. They are asked to consider the “consistent ethic of life [which] calls us … to develop an attitude of profound respect for all life, an attitude that comes from the realization that all are sisters and brothers to us, and all part of the family of God.”
While the module focuses on the death penalty, it addresses other life issues and provides an extensive list of sanctity of life action ideas and resources for all of the life issues, including abortion, euthanasia, in vitro fertilization, disabilities and the death penalty.
The module was designed by The Catholic Mobilizing Network to End the Use of the Death Penalty (CMN), an organization created with the encouragement of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB). CMN worked with the Franciscan Action Network and the Pro-Life Office of the USCCB in creating the module.
Registration for the module is $150 per group. There are no books required for the module and only one DVD (per group) For more information, contact or .
